Promoting art related activities takes up a good deal of our energy and time. Drawing and painting groups meet weekly at the Scout Hall. The digital imaging group ( Gdig) meets once a month and is mainly concerned with taking and processing of digital images. (the products of these activities are displayed in a series of exhibitions throughout the year.)  Our commitment is not only to the visual arts. Over the past few years we have run a number of very successful drama and music evenings, we would like to see this area of activity increase. While these are open to the public they also provide an opportunity for the Friends to gather and socialize. A regular newsletter also helps keep us in touch and allows to advertise ongoing events. We support a ‘try before you buy’ approach to new members. If any, or all, of the activities appeals to you, then come along. The following are our present meeting times.
